TECH RANCH
It's All Autonomic

Computing begets complexity. And complexity breeds the buggy, unreliable systems on which we've all come to depend. Ironic, but true.

IBM's Autonomic Computing Initiative is an effort to solve the complexity issue so that future computer systems will function with a higher level of automation. In this model, it's easy to imagine systems that configure themselves, solve compatibility problems, and "heal" network problems.

Join Tech Ranch for a look at the implications of the computing model of the future.
